HDY bolsters in-house ranks

22nd July 2020

After a busy few months at HDY, we’re thrilled to be welcoming two new recruits to our bright and buzzy team bolstering our brand experience and digital marketing expertise.

Bizarrely but brilliantly introduced to the team via Zoom, our shiny new digital marketing manager Matt Cooper joins our ranks equipped with a first-class honours degree in music journalism, a masters degree in digital marketing and heaps of experience working with the likes of Sky News, MixMag and Tottenham Hotspur FC.

No stranger to creating killer content and social networking, Matt is also the proud founder of Wolverhampton Wanders’ largest fan channel, Talking Wolves. Enticing over 25,000 social followers and 1,00,000+ YouTube views in just two years, Talking Wolves works with local news outlets and international broadcasters such as Sky Sports, TalkSport, Channel 4. Impressive!

We’re absolutely delighted to have Matt on our team to support clients on social media strategy, digital content creation, targetted digital advertising, SEO and PPC. Oh, and did we mention that in his first week he joined our daily Zoom meeting in a hotdog costume? Don’t ask!

As for our second fabulous recruit, we’re super excited to have snapped up London talent Sarah Pick after she spent nine years taking the capital’s marketing industry by storm. After wowing some of the world’s best-loved brands from the likes of L’Orèal to Magnum with her experiential expertise, Sarah joins HDY as an account director, adding her flair for carefully crafted brand experiences to our list of specialist services! Pop-up shop, anyone?

A creative superstar, Sarah will lead our B2C team delivering solid strategy that helps clients to engage with audiences in smart and authentic ways, always with measurable and impactful results. Hot on the heels of two beauty client wins, Sarah couldn’t have joined our team at a better time!

When our experiential guru isn’t grafting at work, you’ll find her instructing yoga classes, taking online sustainability courses, sewing masks to help the NHS and planting vegetables in her greenhouse – is there anything she can’t do?

We feel incredibly lucky to have recruited not one, but two marketing maestros to add to our awesome team of creatives. We look forward to working together to take our agency to the next level. Welcome drinks pending…
